Greg Hahn Receives Unanimous Endorsement of 31st District Democrats
BRISTOL, Connecticut — Yesterday evening former Bristol City Councilor Greg Hahn was unanimously endorsed by Democratic delegates to the 31st State Senate District convention.
“I’m so grateful to the delegates and to the town committees of our district for their support,” said Hahn. “This will be a tough race, but with reproductive freedoms in the most serious danger since Roe, it doesn’t matter how tough it is. Democrats must win.
“Less than two weeks ago, my opponent regrettably voted against expanding access to reproductive care, and against protecting providers in Connecticut from severe, unwarranted punishment in places like Texas or Alabama. It’s a pretty simple difference: he’s anti-choice, I’m pro-choice.”
Greg grew up in the Sherman Park section of Bristol, and even beyond his time on council, has stayed involved with and supportive of the Bristol-area community. Greg recognizes the need for a seat at the table in Hartford, something his opponent has been unable to deliver on.

NOTICE of Nomination of 2022 Convention Delegates and March Meeting
We will be holding our regularly scheduled monthly meeting for March on Monday March 28th immediately following a 7 p.m. Caucus to Nominate Delegates for 2022 Conventions.
REGISTERED PLYMOUTH DEMOCRATS looking to be nominated to represent Plymouth at the upcoming Conventions (at local and state levels) must attend this 7 p.m. vote. We will also be looking for alternates who may replace a delegate if they are suddenly unable to attend.

Plymouth Democrats post notice of caucus
PLYMOUTH – Enrolled members of the Democratic Party of the Town of Plymouth are hereby notified, pursuant to the Rules of the Democratic Party and state election laws, that a caucus will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of Plymouth Town Hall, 80 Main St., Terryville, to endorse candidates for the Democratic Town Committee. Masks are required and social distancing will be encouraged.
This membership caucus, held every other year, is open to all registered Democrats in town. Joining the DTC provides an opportunity for party members to participate in or start learning more about getting involved in local government.

It obviously did not end the way we would have liked with most of our candidates getting on, but we did have a pretty good group of residents ready to step up and add some balance and unity for ALL voices. It is apparent in many surrounding communities that Democrats were ousted in record numbers and should propel us the try even harder as the next time we must all unify is in 2 years which is also going to be Presidential.
